The next night was tri club and my swimming there has been poor to say the least during the last few weeks and very soul-destroying. Although I faded a bit towards the end, I kept up pretty well for most of it and even did a stint not at the back of the lane!
Last night I then did a turbo session and put my aero bars on to get used to them as I'll need them on the day. Was going at a nice pace and felt really strong.
Am a bit tired today though but fortunately it's light training today as am doing an Olympic tri tomorrow so need to conserve energy. The last time I did an Olympic tri at Eton, I went numb from the waist down on the bike and had to pull out. My first and hopefully only DNF. So, I have a score to settle.....
